Bormio is an ancient spa town that nestles in the mountain and is full of rustic charm. The mountain has almost 50km of piste but your pass also covers the nearby ski resorts of Santa Caterina and Valdidentro. Both are linked by a ski bus. The main hill at Bormio has a good mix of open runs at the top and tree lined pistes towards the base.
A “Rumsey Hall tradition reborn!” Ski Bormio, Italy during March break with Jay Przygocki and supporting cast. This event has been recreated through the encouragement of alumni, parents and faculty that once enjoyed this incredible ski experience. With the blessing of headmaster Matt Hoeniger ’81, John Salvatore ’86 went to work to redesign the unique experience. John’s company, Bravo Sports Tours, supports more travelers in Sport to Italy than any other company in the US. Bormio is located in the Valtellina Valley in the northern Italian Alps and is known for its incredible views, skiing, wine and thermal baths. Bormio hosted the Alpine Ski World Championships of 1985 and 2005.
